Cops are not learning. They are still killing police dogs by leaving them in vehicles on hot days, and baking them to death. EVERY DAMN YEAR this happens. EVERY DAMN YEAR. Wake up you dumb asses! Tie that leash to your arm, and don't leave the dog in the vehicle unless YOU CUT OFF YOUR DAMN ARM!

Turbo the 22-month-old police dog died after Master Police Officer and police dog handler David Hurt of South Carolina’s Columbia Police Department left the Labrador retriever mix in a hot police car unattended for 6 hours.

Meanwhile, police tried to keep this June police dog death story in Detroit under wraps, but it leaked out to the news that a member of the Detroit police K-9 unit is under investigation because his dog died after being left in a hot police vehicle.

The entire K-9 unit and the SUVs in which police keep the dogs are being checked out after the dog died inside a hot vehicle, because though the K-9's handler used a remote starter to cool down the SUV, he never inserted the key, and after 30 minutes passed, the SUV stopped running and the vehicle became so hot the dog collapsed. The dog died the next day.

Investigators said the officer failed to check up on the dog as required, AND the heat safety alarm didn't go off. Probably the same situation as South Carolina... the handler likely turned the alarm off.

I post one story about police killing their dogs every year. Maybe someday some cops will get the damn message.

Until then, they are only meeting my expectations. Every damn year. They wrist slap the cop that kills his dog, every time. I say toss him in jail just like they would if you or I killed that police dog. They'd probably beat the shit out of us too.

Someone asked me what my problem is, why am I frequently posting about bad cops, corrupt cops, and asshole cops?
I simply replied: "Why, are you a fan of corrupt asshole bad cops? Or are you a fan of the ones that do the job according to the rules, regs, policies, and procedures without taking perverse pleasure in tormenting and assaulting the "innocent until proven guilty"? and I add, every time,
"Show me a story about a fantastic cop, doing a great job, and I'll post every one you can find" I've only ever had 2 good cop stories sent my way, the others I found myself.

  1. That cop killed a police officer and should be held responsible. Not only did he kill his partner, he tortured him by leaving him in a car for 6 hours.

  2. No excuse for this. What a horrible way for an animal to die.
