interesting situation, freedom of speech, 1st amendment right, and union contract, vs employers rules.

Can an union employee of Ford say to the elected official that tops the executive branch, a government representative, ""pedophile protector"' without consequence, because the union has a contract, and the employee is a citizen with the freedom of speech to say anything to the government.

Clarification, can he say that, and keep his job?

I think so. It's going to be interesting to see how the union vs the corporation legal contest turns out. But, I doubt the contract will be renewed with the same protection of free speech.

A go fund me or two were set up, and instantly raised about a million dollars, to provide financial support for the guy that told the pres, he's a criminal accessory to the crime of sexual assault of children, for preventing the Epstein facts from seeing the inside of a courtroom.

"we stand with our membership in protecting their voice on the job," said Laura Dickerson, UAW VP Ford Department Director.
