there was a tank in London... just to piss off a city council who shot down plans to make a high rise building in that spot. The turret points at their city council planning office

 

After denying the building permit, the developer switched up and asked for a permit to install a tank... they thought he meant a septic tank, and approved that request.  

And you already see he put a Soviet WW2 T34 tank there. Well, in 2022 it was removed.
