5 years ago the former armored 1950 Cadillac limo of President Einsenhower, was bought from a museum to be a wedding limousine, but ended up damaged on the way home with the buyer

According to police, the accident occurred on the A5 between the cities of Heidelberg and Karlsruhe. Two vehicles collided in the left lane, one of them was thrown onto the central lane, where the Cadillac were being towed. The trailer unhooked and overturned

  1. I’m sure we can all forgive the French party that provided the info for this post, because they have misled us.

The vehicle is a 1955 Cadillac 75 limousine, coachwork by Hess and Eisenhardt. Prior to delivery of the Caddy the president cruised around in a 1950 Lincoln limo built for Harry Truman.

The Lincoln model year may have been the source of confusion for our French friend, but again, being the gracious SOB’s we are we’ll overlook their egregious error...this time.

    1. and the computer translator program could be to blame too. Who knows. Nothing was written about it 1st hand in English, and we all know that reading translated stuff is still a bit clunky, errors are still everywhere in translations. BUT, we live in a marvelous time when we CAN understand everyone in every other language, with a pocket gizmo! Very Sci Fi from my perspective as a kid from the 70s when "translator buttons" are in every sci fi book and tv show
