It's been a long time since I learned of the Gilmore aero fuel tanker, but I haven't seen a new photo of it since, until now

  1. The vehicle chassis is most likely a 1935 White 730, derived from the company’s first cab over. Power would have been a 464ci horizontally opposed 12 cylinder. The builder was Advanced Auto Body Works of Los Angeles, styling attributed to one Wellington Everett Miller.
