There's a lot going on here. 1937 Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. "Texaco Test Fleet auto at Joe DiMaggio Grotto. Driver of Pontiac with restaurant manager Tom DiMaggio."

Double bumper guards/bumperettes, some horn on the drivers side of the bumper, and it's part of the Texaco Test Fleet? What was that? Fleet number 7? But it's also number 932.

Why is the driver of the car wearing Jodhpurs?

Did they have 1000 of these cars? Who the hell has a fleet of 1000 cars? Who has 7 fleets?  What did they need to test that badly?  I learned the answer to the last one was anti Knock fuel
