Have you heard the lie that automated camera tickets are reviewed by a cop, per the law that only the police can cite you with a ticket, before sending them out in the mail? If it wasn't obvious that is bullshit before, it is now

you can't issue a ticket for speeding to the car on the back of a tow truck, you law enforcement morons.

Clearly there's no one looking at these, or they are asleep on the job, or they are idiots. You pick one.

  1. Years ago a guy in California had a vanity plate that read "NO TAG". Why? Well he was asked to give three choices for his personal plate but he could only think of 2, so his third choice was don't give me a personal tag, which he wrote as No tag.

This man was eventually arrested for unpaid parking tickets statewide. The police procedure for an abandoned vehicle with no plate was write the license plate down as..."NO TAG"!

Yeah the morons actually believed he was driving continually up and down the length of California and parking illegally on roadsides along the way.

He only escaped prosecution because his lawyer was lucky enough to find two tickets at opposite ends of the state issued at exactly the same time!

Our taxpayer dollars hard at work.....

  2. Very similar happened with a guy in my country: His car was broke down at the countryside and the tow truck took the highway to transport it to the service near to the owner's home. As you may guess, the highway authority issued a ticket for him for using a highway and not paying the toll.

All three? Yes. All three. Nuff said.

  4. There's only one problem: This picture is from Brazil, and there's no such thing of "reviewed by a cop" here.

Also he's not going to pay it. You just need to complain and that ticket will be voided.
