1974 St Louis AMC/Jeep zone office. I ordered a Black on Yellow Cherokee Chief for a field car. It came into the dealer that was buying my field cars for prep and he called and said, "Find someone else to take that yellow thing, I don't want it." The next day he called me and said a customer came in and wanted to buy the yellow Cherokee so he sold it! I never did get my Chief field car!
A guy up the road from me (northern Maine) has a J-series Golden Eagle pickup in his driveway. He won't sell :(.
