When it suddenly occured to me....

Hood ornaments are the evolution of radiator caps.

Yeah, some things are really obvious to some people, sometimes, and take others forever to catch on to.

I'm not sure which catagory I'm in.

That is about 2 and 1/2 feet away from the curb, and was there while the driver got out and used the atm. ... maybe the BMW is afraid of curbs? Perhaps BMW's aren't easy to gauge the distance to the curb in? Maybe the driver found their drivers license in a box of Cracker Jacks?
