NHRA stuck Steell Fuller and his Avanti called "The Glass Widow" in B/Gas Supercharged at the 1963 NHRA Nationals at Indy, where he didn't have a hope in hell of competing, because Studebaker hadn't released the official power rating of the Supercharged 289 R2



Mr. Fuller spelled out his protest with NHRA on the hood of the car

No, I can't tell what the words are between the windshield and NHRA... or to the far side of 289. I suppose it might be something to the effect of "it is only a"
