If Healey's proposal passes, more than 500,000 driver’s license non-renewals now in place will be lifted within three months.
Well, that sucks that 1/2 million people in Massachusetts can't afford the fines, so, lower the fines, get the governor to pardon the fines, or quit issuing parking tickets if there won't be a consequence. Why the hell should I care? But the reasons for suspending those licenses either were rational, and logical, and those should not be renewed, OR the whole damn system is pointless if the poor ought to be given free run of the state of Massachusetts simply because the system is too damn expensive for them.
Well, shit, I'd like to speed everywhere, park anywhere, and do anything the govt has made illegal, and get away with it all because I'm broke!
First, I'd like to exercise my constitutional right to guns, lots of them, all kinds, especially the ones the govt absolutely will not tolerate a blue collar guy like me having. Lets start with machine guns, tommy guns, and all of them, with silencers.... so I can hunt partridge silently. No shotgun blasts scaring away all the game within a mile. And I'd like to shoot the guns in the city. Nothing in the constitution says the rights do not exist within city limits!
Anyway, here's the stupid shit the governor said "Nobody should be forced into poverty or prevented from going to work, school or doctor’s appointments for not paying a toll or parking ticket. This proposal will remove onerous penalties for debts that do not negatively impact public safety or other individuals"
Good, do away with the tolls, and parking tickets! No one likes them, and you can't expect anyone to pay them now that poor people don't have to. Make it voluntary! Anyone who feels rich, can pay them if they want to!
I bet this comes from the same group of morons that said illegals were welcome, right until they landed on Martha's Vineyard
