as many people as who would gladly be a driver for 20 an hour, me included, and the ridiculously wasteful rich people would rather get the novelty of riding in a robot car. I happen to post the stupid shit robot cars fail to accomplish correctly, so I'm aware of the limitations they have. Like mirrors, sunrise, semi trucks perpendicular across the road... and they can't "think" about the situations that are 'new" like this police action. Everyone else would have the courtesy to give the cops some distance, the crime scene ought to be avoided to prevent damaging evidence, in that rare circumstance that some is on the road. Plus, even more rare, open flames, I wonder if the robot cars know to stay out of, and NOT drive through flames, and Tornados.
A technology whose time has come TO BE STOPPED. We need human brains to drive vehicles despite the profit incentive for some entrepreneurs.
