One of Hank Porter’s earliest pieces created for the cover of the October 1940 issue of Liberty magazine.
Porter created a patriotic-themed illustration that featured Donald and his jalopy, with a “1776” license plate, the Liberty Bell, the scales of justice, and the torch from the Statute of Liberty.
I get a kick out of the stars and stripes fenders, lightning strike bumper, and the stars on the rims
