Roughly 8 million dimes ($800,000) were scattered across a Texas highway after a truck overturned on Tuesday. Crews were seen vacuuming the coins for 14 hours on the southbound lanes of U.S. 287
This sounds like a math problem from school. Which is more cost effective? A- hire a vac truck to suck up all the dimes quickly and separate the dimes from the debris afterward. B - pay your own staff by the hour to pick up the dimes by hand.

'Tis a shame that there were no five-cent coins in the load. Then the cleanup crew could state they there were nickel and diming all afternoon!
