yes, there are some odd states with strange laws about what is a property tax applicable vehicle. Boats, rvs, cars... I haven't lived where that's applied to cars, but I heard of it. Hell, there are weird state laws, or even county laws, like alcohol can't be sold where the Jack Daniels distillery is located. That's just stupid. And in Utah, you can't buy beer from a store on sundays, or something similarly retarded.
Some states will want the back property tax paid to register it now.
