things don't always go to plan when you show people what a great thing you've invented, sometimes tragedy has to intervene to get your invention the respect it deserves

  3. My Dad came home from WWII and went to work for a major insurance company selling group health insurance put of their Syracuse NY office. His first big sale was to the company producing Link trainers in Binghamton, NY. He launched an extremely successful 30 year career based on that first sale.

    1. Wow! I can't imagine having a 30 year career... or, even a career. I've had around 20 jobs in the last 25 years. Companies don't seem to last very long nowadays, also.
