The caboose design of the entry to the depot? Genius... why weren't railroad depot built that way back when materials were dirt cheap, and old equipment was so easy to find it was thrown away? Anyway, what a great way to give an old railroad depot a new life! Make is a pizza joint!
According to https://www.west2k.com/ohstations/sandusky.shtml the area depots (one made in 1875) are now part of a Moose Lodge, one is a barber shop, and this one is a pizza joint
You're welcome. The depot building that was a barber shop was across the tracks from the pizza place. It was originally built in Marblehead, Ohio, which is about 20 miles away and was moved to Fremont in the 1980s. A year ago, it was moved across town and has been fixed up as a gift shop at a local greenhouse.
There are a few old pictures of the depot in it's original location and some outside pictures now - https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=418293254537758&set=pcb.418293267871090
Thanks for bringing this to us to appreciate. Sandusky? Hmmm... maybe this coming summer/
