Crookston Mn has annual Ox Cart Days to celebrate the Ox carts that once plodded through Crookston on their way from Canada to St. Paul. They were the long-haul truckers of their day

The weeklong community festivities every August include kids lemonade stand contest, car cruise, kids tractor pull, smores fest, lip sync contest, marathon run, food truck fest, ATV mud run, pickleball tournament, a pizza eating contest and lots more

and the bed races were a huge hit
