Dan is at the Amelia with his 1903 Franklin that he restored and posted progress on Facebook!

Isn't that COOL! What a great moment for a great guy who has been restoring Franklins for years and sharing the process with us online

  1. During WWII, an undertaker on Lexington Avenue betyween31st and 32nd Streets in Manhattan bought a used air-cooled Franklin for his business because he could mix 10% ether with the gasoline and the engine would run just fine. Gasoline rationing was in effect.
