Way back my dad had a can that I always thought of as a Jerry Can, but it was, clearly an American Blitz can with the big screw top, requiring a gooseneck attachment that always leaked. I always wondered what was such a big deal that people swore by Jerry Cans, considering how hard it was to pour well. Now I know.
