  3. Holy crap, I just saw this, today. I wish I had seen it yesterday. My wife lost her mother to cancer just before we were married over ten years ago, yesterday was her mother's birthday.

My wife may be the preacher's daughter, but she's momma's girl all the way. So in fact is her daughter. It is one of the things I love so much about her. Her genuine love for her family.

Yesterday was very, very hard on her. Her momma's birthday always is. With her father heading into the homestretch it is even more so these days.

I've never been a Chevy guy and neither was her mother, but yeah this one kicks you in the heart. As a testament to the woman I only knew long enough to give her blessing she was every bit as loved as the woman depicted here.

Her death bed was an endless parade of people from the various churches she helped her husband run over their many years together. Watching how she handled her own imminent death with grace, and courage will stay with my remaining days on this earth.

    1. How much we touch others in a great way is measured by how many attend our funerals. Ghandi's was stunning, for example.
Well, a day late, but you can tell your wife it's a time zone thing and it's still on day one somewhere

  5. You warned me but I did not think that I would have tears. What a beautiful ad. I think that the emblem on the front fender and the noise of the exhaust says"396." What a beautiful presentation. Thank you for bringing this to your followers. Tom

    1. I'm not fooling around with decaf low octane diet bullshit. I'm coming at you with nitro and soft compound slicks treading on track glue! Better tie your shoe laces damn tight around here!
You're sure welcome, I hope to deliver only the good stuff, and I can't take credit for creating the stuff you see on my blog - but I'm darn sure proud to filter through a mountain of stuff to get the gold nuggets to share with everyone that stops on my site to see what's new.
I hope I find lots more, and that you enjoy it.
To further filkter out less interesting stuff, I use the "tag" word Awesome, and you can click on https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search/label/awesome the AWESOMNE tag to get only the stuff I feel is the very best
