Looks like they are trying to cash in on the money people are making by selling vintage BMX bikes. I did some looking around and saw a 1979 Super Goose for sale for $1900 on a BMX forum. A guy near me has a collection of 50 restored BMX bikes that is open to the public. I've never checked it out because I thought he had them for sale. He has at least one of these originals in his collection.
And here's something I've never seen - a Dan Gurney Eagle BMX bike with rear suspension. Only $2000!
