In a new movie, with Jackie Chan (so much admiration for him) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (body builder to movie star to governor in his adopted country) there is a steam punk dream stagecoach. Movie gets released to theaters either this Nov 20th, or next April

  1. Once again Jesse, great banner. This looks like a fun movie to see on the silver screen, providing we are ever allowed to go to the movie houses again. Bastards.

  2. Thanks! Yep, ain't it amazing that the movie industry has gotten to where they can make such fun movies, compared to the 50s simple, ordinary, no special effects efforts

    1. Yes indeed. CGI is a major step up in the industry, and has changed how we view today's movies from yesterday. Still, as plane as those movies were, the director had to use his or her minds eye to visualize a scene and then the effects people to achieve the final cut. A tough business to be sure. I just wish we could "GO" to the movies! 😡

  3. I was wondering why do you need horses if you have a steam stagecoach. Then I realized: AUTOPILOT!

    1. frankly, there is no propulsion mechanism attached to the rear wheel... click on the first photo, that will make it full screen.
That 5th wheel is free wheeling in hoops on both sides of it's hub axle. Damned if I can tell what the purpose is.
If they had a mechanical drive attached to it, we could figure it's for either propulsion, or braking down hills to add drag so the coach doesn't run over the horses
