the former Fred Armbruster and Pete Lovely-owned 1958 Thames 800 that was used to transport the duo's Cooper-Ferrari to the 1960 United States Grand Prix, held at Riverside.

During its lifetime, the Thames also transported Ferraris, Loti, Coopers, loads of garbage (receipts were found in it from the Tacoma, WA dump) and once, a Stanguellini FJ from the west coast distributor in San Francisco.

  1. Bless you for using the proper plural term. I'm still trying (for three decades and counting) to make people use 'Nimbi' instead of 'Nimbuses', but to no avail. And they have no idea what I'm talking about, when I use it.

    1. Loti? Huh. I always wonder if Ferrari is correct for the plural as well.
