The bus was large and threatening. It just stayed there instead of retreating as the police officer got closer. Obvious justification: The police officer was in fear for his life. The police will conduct an investigation and determine that they were not at fault... of course. This is the 5th time this has happened in El Paso in recent years.

It happened about 7:45 a.m. in front on Schuster Elementary School.

Think about that... the cop was speeding and driving recklessly in a school zone.

Hit a school bus.

Wasn't self respecting enough to resign for gross professional negligence and a discredit to law enforcement professionals everywhere

There were no children in the bus and the officer was not injured, police said.

Officer Kevin Mckinney, a seven-year veterean of the force, was cited for driver inattention.

Or the kids were too slow getting off the bus. The officer gently lifted the left rear corner of the bus so the kids could flow out the right front corner more quickly!
