What a waste of time, Aussie tax payers dollars, etc. Readers, this is the most foolish cop pull over I've ever seen. Two cops had to ask him the same questions about his vest, his bike, his job, etc
They act like they are confronting Chopper Reed after a murder, instead, they have Joe Businessman refueling!
I wish I could drop in, ride a harley, while wearing a clever Mickey Mouse MC vest. Just to spin the the hell up.
Actually, this is mild. from what I hear from Aussie friends. Anyone on a motorcycle with any kind of writing on a jacket , and especially a vest, is stopped, hassled and usually jailed if there are more than 2 guys riding together. Wearing of 'colours' alone will ofttimes get you thrown in the poke, even sitting in a restaurant! With no other probable cause nor redress...
ReplyDeleteI have no patience with /tolerance for 'outlaw' gangs either, but this is ridiculous. Peter Egans 'Slimy Cruds MC' group would disappear and never be heard from again down there! [ ;) ] Just another example of totalitarian regimes running amok on any group they please when there is no Constitutional protection[s] in place and finally no means for the individual to redress their grievances or protect themselves from governmental oppression...remember, the aussies gave up their guns a few years ago...
