Marty Robbins when he raced in Nascar

if you've never heard of Marty, he was a great singer song writer of westerns. Not this nonsense contemporary line dancing pop country... but westerns. Gunfighters, bandits, the Mexico border, etc etc. Very Zorro era type imagery.

Grave digger had a special display and photo shoot area for fans set up in the pits, they really did a great job. San Diego Monster Jam 2013

This was news to me, I didn't know that this was the origin of Grave Digger

People could get their photos take in a Grave Digger... now that is damn cool. No one else has had that level of open door policy with a Monster Truck that I've ever seen.

Below: It's on some type of support under the vehicle, and the kids could spin the tires by hand

Monster Jam San Diego 2013 in the "Pit Party" area that you can get free admittance to if you stop by a Ford dealership and pick up a pass

Kids wanted to see what the tail fur felt like

Kids wanted to climb on the tires, and then they realized it wasn't quite as fun as it was scary

Above kid on the left is crying for mom

Have you looked over at New Cafe Racer Society lately?

The 70's were a time for opportunistic guys like Jumpin Joe Geralch to try to get paid for show appearances.

Wow, that is going to hurt in the morning

Clever!

Huh!

This was just a sample, they've got a whole lot more at http://thenewcaferacersociety.blogspot.com.es
