These are pretty cool... but 35 bucks for the regular size. Well... just FYI, interesting, but expensive. Like everything else in the automotive world, right?

  1. We have a regional "upscale" version of Harbor Freight called Northern Tool. (I think just in the Atlanta GA area, so I have no idea why it's called Northern)
They have more of a focus on larger equipment like trailer parts and pressure washers. Clutch (the 2nd c has wrench shape to it) is the name of their inhouse brand of tools and equipment. wouldn't be surprised if someone doesn't get C&D letter.

    1. I've been to Northern Tool, I think, and it was decades ago, so I can't be sure.. but it's a great way to save money on tools you're only going to use once or twice, and don't feel it's worth the INVESTMENT that tools you'll use for work, for the rest of your life, warrants, like Machinist tools from Starrett, mechanics tools from Snap On or Mac Tools...

  2. Northern Tool began as Northern Hydraulics in the Minneapolis suburb of Eagan, a retailer of (by my memory) mostly log splitter parts. When they expanded into more tools and ancillary supplies I stopped into their stores whenever I would go to "the Twin Cities".
