Definitely a vintage Blown C Altered. Cool at the time but oh so wrong today safety and design wise.

the statement "pretty damn basic" makes me wonder: "Would I like this for my daily driver? I think that I can get a few bags of groceries into the driver's compartment. Yours in mirth (and my girth) - Tom
