From what I found, a group of agricultural co-ops got together to form a larger co-op to build these tractors. The NFMC was in a town a few miles from where I live.

Some of the Co-op tractors were built by Cockshutt, in Canada. I only know of the Co-op tractors because a former co-worker collects Cockshutt tractors.
