A 61-year-old woman in Texas tried to join a Fourth of July parade on her old tractor, but parade officials said no. So she tried to join it anyway . . . FLOORED it when cops tried to stop her . . . and ended up crashing into a fence.

Police said that parade organizers told the woman, identified as 60-year-old Laurie Bostic, that she and her tractor weren’t allowed in the parade after she caused a disturbance in the staging area at Utley Middle School.

Bostic entered the procession anyway, police said, then fled on the tractor after officers tried to stop her near T.L. Townsend Drive and Justin Road because she was behaving dangerously, police said.

“Officers were able to force her from the road, where she ran into a fence, disabling her tractor,” the department said in a prepared statement.

Bostic, who was taken to the Rockwall County jail, has been charged with evading arrest, a third-degree felony. She also faces three misdemeanor charges that allege interfering with a processional, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, police said.
