new and now on Netflix, "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind" A boy helps his village by building a wind turbine from spare parts after reading about them in a library book.

A 13-year-old boy is thrown out of the school he loves when his family can no longer afford the fees. He sneaks into the library where he learns about electrical engineering and energy production. and learns how to build a windmill from the family bicycle  to save his village from a famine.

Seeking to save his village from the drought, William devises a plan to build a windmill to power an electric water pump that he had scavenged earlier.

William builds a small proof of concept prototype which works successfully, but to build a larger windmill, his father must give him permission to deconstruct the family bicycle for parts, which is the only bicycle in the village and the family's last major asset.

With the help of his friends and the remaining members of the village, they build a full-size windmill which leads to a successful crop being sown.
