Mine started working in one of my vehicles about 2 or 3 months ago. Still working this morning. Yesterday got a notice in the mail saying my trial subscription is about to expire! The car is a 2012 that I've owed for 3 years now, so my trial subscription ended a long time ago. LOL
Sirius XM often does the "here's a surprise" gift 3 month activation just to get people back using their radio, and then asks them to subscribe. I've had XM for a couple years since getting my 2015 Hyundai, then letting the subscription lapse because they ask too damn much per month. 5 dollars a month is all it's worth to me, considering I can get all that music free on so many other streaming services, like You Tube, Pandora, etc. So, after a while of my account being inactive, they reach out, "gift" me with free for a couple months, then try and get me to pay again. This recent try, on their part, finally was a good deal, and went to the 5 dollars a month if I paid for a couple years all at once. Ok, that's a deal. It's going to expire in Sept. I won't be bothered to see they revert to asking for hundreds a year, they typically state that is their regular price. I've posted here a lot, about their nonsense. They try, but easily cave into accepting YOUR offer of so much less. They simply need the money after wasting millions on their deal with Howard Stern
