Investigators confirm Lloyd was driving his personal vehicle, a Charger, topping 95 miles per hour as he barreled down Sooner Road, and here is the intersection as he was driving toward it, in a 40mph zone.
Emily was already in the intersection, turning left at Southeast 134th Street when she was hit on the passenger side of her red vehicle.
Emily’s car rolled several times, coming to a stop 80 feet from where she was first hit.
The 18-year-old died before emergency crews could arrive. 7:41 am
Lloyd was placed on paid administrative leave after the crash investigation was completed;
His fellow officers didn't arrest him for manslaughter like you or I would have been. He didn't even get a ticket for reckless driving.

How many speeding tickets do you think this donut eater wrote that month? That week? Or in his hypocrit career as a law breaker cop that didn't give a shit about driving safe, or even driving the speed limit.
Because he had a badge, and wouldn't get a speeding ticket.

hopefully there will be some jail time for that dirt bag cop. a couple years ago a Georgia State Trooper Anthony J. Scott, did the same thing, driving 91 in a 55 in his marked patrol car. and killed two people.
ReplyDeletehe finally got fired and charged. but was buddies with the judge who declared a mistrial and will not be punished for killing to people.
In many ways, the off duty behavior of police contribute a lot to the disrespect they receive. This accident is just a small example of a mentality that permeates a lot of law enforcement personnel. That they are 'above' the very law they enforce.
ReplyDeleteInstead of being a pillar of responsible behavior in their communities they trod on their neighbors by ignoring laws that otherwise penalize the mere mortals they patrol. This is even worse when it occurs in non-urban areas where these law enforcement people live among the people they are working for.
The reality is that if a law enforcement person is driving too fast and get stopped they get a pass. This never happens to the average citizen. If this were NOT the case, Emily would be home safe with her parents instead of in a casket.
This case is an example of abuse by law enforcement that is not necessarily a part of how they do their jobs but is a part of the legacy that they represent. If they truly believe in the merit of obeying the law, then this officer should be given a severe sentence as he intentionally acted in violation of the law, his oath and good conscience.
I was her friend. He got one year for every year she lived. I'm so angry.
