Do you wonder if they look into the maintenance logs to see who was supposed to bolt things back together, but failed, and caused the engine to catch on fire at 40,000 feet?


there is only 5 seconds of video, but some jackass looped it together 10 times.

  1. Oh, you betcha the paperwork will show who didn't get that nose cone put on correctly. Can you see how the bearings are red hot? That's what it looks like to see hundreds of thousands of dollars on fire as this 10 million dollar engine devours itself.

    1. The paper work will also tell them who made it, who qa'd it yada yada.
      Might not be the mechanics fault.

  2. Indeed.. Might have been a bearing failure that broke/melted the fairing cone support..
