in the 1960s, the Disney themeparks had ticket books (easy to google) with a handful of tickets that had a variety of denominations, based on letters A-E. Each ride would get the person to pull out the right ticket and hand it over to the ride operator, and the cooler the ride the farther in the alphabet it was, so easy kids rides, an A ride, and the most awesome ride would be an E ticket. I inherited a book of those 1960s tickets from a friend
