I didn't say it was accurate, I just stated what I learned, and where. It seems preposterous to me, as a 747 can weigh 152 tons minimum to operate, but that tank weighs 74 tons. Downey seems to have made some shit up to seem smart, but since he's an actor, being filmed for a tv show, it's easy to understand he was "acting" and being entertaining, and not speaking as an expert on the gross vehicle tonnage of the 747 or the tank. I do hope you take the context of what I post and where it's sourced from into account.
Easy now, I was making a lighthearted comment. Nobody in their right mind - you included - would think an Abrams and a 747 would weigh the same. Save possibly Robert Downey Jr.
That must be an Abrams fully armed up and with all personnel on board, because an empty 747 weight 220 tonnes.
