Today's "Florida Man" is also a good example of a typical elected official with power trip in full force, This county commissioner (whatever the hell that job does) decided that the cop pulling his 2013 Ferrari 458 over, for 92 in a 70, BETTER "RESPECT MA AUTHORITAA! " in true asshole fashion

A Florida county commissioner pulled over twice for speeding in luxury cars boasted of his title and, in one case, declared, "I run the county," and that it would be a "career-ending move" to arrest him.

Flagler County Commissioner Joe Mullins, 51, was pulled over June 2 in Seminole County and June 19 in Flagler County for speeding. Mullins, a real estate investor and property manager, won a commission seat in 2018 after running unsuccessfully for the Georgia House of Representatives in 2015

Mullins boasted his position to the trooper who stopped him for 92 mph in a 70 mph zone on Interstate 95, according to the citation report.

that just adds affirmation to my belief that Ferrari driving politicians are assholes.

  4. When he said "Irun the County" the fine should have been at least doubled. Notice the officers stance as he stands next to the noballsmobile. He is ready to move quickly if the need arises.

    1. I can see no difference between democrats or republicans. Clinton was a good example, of doing whatever got the best results in the polls, and the most votes for re-election. I can recall the the republicans had a 100 day promise thing that when elected, in their first 100 days in office they would make good on so many election promises.
Unfortunately for all us citizens, lifetime politicians do not focus on what the country needs (fill the damn potholes, get rid of pennies, do away with daylight savings) even when those broadly desired issues will require no effort on their part. Daylight savings was a issue 4 months ago. They gave up on it after the House voted unanimously to get rid of it, because Congress then squabbled over which time to continue with, the early sunrise, or later sunrise. I shit you not. Politicians may have theology issues for each party like pro abortion, or anti abortion, may believe in social programs or wealth building programs that only help the mega rich, but, all politicians are quite the same to me.
Kim Kardashian has done more to get one woman out of prison, than all politicians in the time that woman was in prison.
So, what the hell does either political party have that would endear me to any of them?
I say, go Bull Moose party, like Teddy Roosevelt, and see some back to patriotic progress for changes to what people on tractors want for the country. New Yorkers, and San Fransicans are just nuts
