someone chose a cool 69 Barracuda with extra cool slotted mags for a cute catchy new song's music video

notice she has the respect and consideration to not wear her heels while her feet are on the hood. I dig that!

I learned there is also an animated version of the song, sans rapper guy, with a Mazda Cosmo

that is a hell of a coincidence that she has three videos for a song and they all have a pre 1970 cool car

Marc points out that it's this car, and he's right!

  1. I hate to break it to you but when you start referring to one of the "hottest" singers today as "someone" that means that you are officially old!

I'm old too and the only reason I know about this girl/singer is because I have a daughter who showerd me the video about 3 days ago... Otherwise I would have never heard of this singer.

    1. ummm, I make a blog about old cars, WW2 aircraft, tanks, steam locomotives, and history. I never had any concept I was a young guy. And if she's one of the hottest, then you agree that looks are what you're referring to, not fame, notoriety, etc. Then you mention you had no idea who she was until your daughter showed you the video.

  2. What is the car in the last picture? I watched 4 different videos for this song (yes, there are at least 4) and I didn't see that car in any of them.

    1. I'm not sure, but I think it's a Ferrari

    2. I think it's a Porsche RSK Spyder or replica. The Porsche badge and name are taped over in the picture here.

This is the closest I could find to the one in the picture. There are a lot of variations in the fuel filler location, mirrors and location of the badges.

  3. This looks like the actual car, from the London Concours in 2018, described as a 718 RSK recreation. The car in the background is a modified Lancia Aurelia, like one I just saw in a Petrolicious post. Petrolicious compared it to an Outlaw Porsche 356, with chopped roof, newer engine and other modifications.

I should probably get back to work now. I'm a little bit over my lunch break from going down this rabbit hole.
