several years ago I met the editor of the Nimbus club hardcopy printed and online ’Danmarks Nimbus Touring’ club magazine, the Tidende, and here's a reminder, for any other fans of the Nimbus motorcycle, that you ought to consider subscribing (5 issues a year)

an English pdf edition of the Danish Nimbus club's magazine Nimbus Tidende [Nimbus Times] is on its way.

This will be the first of hopefully more such editions, which at some point will be available for members of the Danish club only. Right now we're just going to show that it is one of the best motorcycle club magazines out there.

At 12 MB even the lo-res version (50 MB version available on request) is too large for FB, so if you want it, send an email to ccc40821@gmail.com headlined 'NT English'.

Where else can you learn about world travelers who Klaus Ulvestad, one of the two Norwegians who drove the earth (and honorary member), has now published ”Around The Globe” in Norwegian

And don't say JACG blog cause I wouldn't learn about things like this without a heads up from Kim, the magazines editor.

Or that they've got a cylinder head project in the works ?

and had you heard that a Londoner started a round the world baton pass for women riders? That's the coolest thing I've learned all week!

From February 2019 to February 2020, more than 3500 women from 79 countries did a motorcycle relay passing the above baton, crossing six continents around the world. WRWR - Women Rider’s World Relay - was started by Hayley Bell from London. https://www.facebook.com/WRWR2019/

It would have been cooler to use a vintage bike shock absorber (same shape) but I guess they went for weight savings instead.

cool wedding car!

and how else can you read about how different things are in other countries... like when the govt told Lennart that in case of war, his motorcycle was to be delivered to the govt for the military to use! WITH a full tank of gas!

I think you get where I'm coming from.... this is a high quality content magazine. This is merely a sample from a couple of pages of just the latest issue

By the way, what else makes a Nimbus a great motorcycle? 4 wrenches and a screwdriver are the only tools needed to build it, repair it, or carry along for the ride in case of problems.

FYI, there are 3,962 Nimbus registered in Denmark and 1,119 unreg’d stored ones. There are approx. 1,000 in the rest of the world.

So, I'm letting you know how fascinating and diverse the articles are so you can decide, can you really let this slip by without subscribing?
