shouldn't you see an improvement in the oil if you replace only the filter, and run the car a couple days? It should filter out the impurities (as they say they do) and your oil ought to get cleaner... right?
Or are oil filters a waste of money, and your oil is going to do it's thing regardless of new or old filter is in place?
Things that I think about in the shower

The oil won't appear to get "cleaner" because the things that make it turn a dark color are too small to be filtered out by a standard automotive oil filter.
ReplyDeleteI've wondered about that... so just what IS getting filtered out?
DeleteIn the shower I'm always wondering if I'm on the wash or am I on the rewash....
