interesting booth that has a push up contest going on during SEMA... and the car was sweet! Textured koi painted 3d on the car. But the rims were the most interesting... I don't remember ever seeing rims with bolts through the bead on a sports car. Mark B discovered the answer through!

These are RS (Racing Service) Watanabe "Gotti" wheels.

The 4 screws on the rim are just for looks, supposedly these are a copy of wheels that Nissan used on the 240Z they raced at LeMans in 1975, which were never sold to the public.

The screws on the racing wheels may have been used as bead locks. There are a few different stories about the racing wheels

Thank you Marc!

  1. I did an image search using the wheel.

Those are RS (Racing Service) Watanabe "Gotti" wheels. From what I can tell, the 4 screws on the rim are just for looks. I found a few different stories about the racing wheels, so I don't know how credible they are.
