You can use the Google app and your phone/tablet camera to translate the text around these drawings. Most of the text is technical info on the planes and descriptions. There are also some interesting comments about how hard some of these planes are to draw, some self critiquing comments and even funny messages from Miyazaki.
it would just be cool if someone made these, with English instead of Japanese, like the Studio Ghibli movies... such an incredible body of work. How in the heck he decided on Porco Rosso? No idea. Might be in context of "when pigs fly" I don't know.
