Generally I agree, it is ugly. I was never a big fan of Virgil Exners designs at Chrysler. That said, if you have a understanding of what he was going for, and the times...there is some parts of it that are at least interesting if not beautiful. You can see a lot of his chrysler work in there. Of course, I could do without the cheap gold interior trim.
Actually, it IS a misdemeanor is 7 states. Oklahoma currently has a bill pending in the House to elevate it to a class 2 Felony... Along with the distribution of nissan jukes. [ ;) ]
Yeah I would say for that time period it makes you think who made these car purchases. I know a few R & B singers owned these cars. Counts Kustoms in Vegas located one of these that was owned by her deceased husband(who was a singer) and found the exact car and refurbished for her. I guess would be pimps would be another group that might have purchased this too. lol
