Deep below the streets of Jersey City, NJ Transit trains rumble back and forth through the Bergen Tunnels to and from Hoboken Terminal.

The 4,200-foot long tunnels cut through Bergen Hill, the southernmost end of the Hudson Palisades. 

The northern tunnel was built from 1873-1877 by the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad, with the southern tunnel opening in 1910. 

Partway through the tunnels are two large open-cut ventilation shafts, which also feature emergency exit staircases and standpipes for firefighting. 

At left is an older ventilation shaft, one of five that date back to the construction of the tunnels.

These were stabilized and backfilled during the 2001 renovation of the tunnels. In this view, GP40PH-2B no. 4208, the railroad's Conrail heritage unit - identifiable by its blue color, rather than the black roof of nearly every other NJT locomotive - is seen shoving non-revenue train X132 through the north tunnel on Track 1. a moron officer in the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office issued a ticket to a woman for holding a phone in her right hand. She does NOT HAVE A RIGHT HAND. What a damn braindead cop, what a buffoon

The citation, issued Feb. 11 along North Dixie Highway in Lake Worth Beach, accused the driver of violating Florida’s wireless communications while driving law. The case drew widespread attention after the woman posted video of the traffic stop on TikTok, where she questioned the deputy’s claim that he saw a device in her “right hand.”

the driver records the stop and questions the deputy’s observation. The citation indicates the deputy observed a handheld device while she was traveling northbound on North Dixie Highway.

During the stop, the deputy is heard stating he saw the device in her “right hand.” The woman CLEARLY does not have a right hand, showed him, proved it over and over. 

Police, are generally SO FULL OF EGO, and bullies, and UNABLE to back down from mistakes. This dumbass needs a new career where his ego won't get in the way of being PROFESSIONAL. 

Making a PUBLIC DEBACLE of what STUPID and INEPT people the police hire and allow to carry a gun, wear a uniform, and drive a cop car, should be mentioned at the beginning of every shift when the police get ready to hit the streets, as ONE THING they should avoid. 

Do a job that can be recorded on video, without breaking laws, shooting unarmed people, and making the others in uniform ASHAMED to be in the same job category. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO DEMAND?

It was the track officials who ultimately caught the pace car thief. They set up a roadblock on the track, forcing the guy to slow and stop. Once he did, they pulled Crowder out of the vehicle just as police pulled up.
