I was at my rental garage, about to change my oil, and Nick drove up with his families 71 Nova... first cool old car to drive up the alley I have a rented garage in, in years.
If I recall right, he said it's been sitting for 7 years, and most of that was waiting for him to shift from sea duty to shore duty.
It's the first time he's driven it over here to where he lives, and he's going to look for a garage for rent to get it off the street

Chevelle? Horrid rims.
they are asking 2500, it's not running. It's likely total junk. 73 Super Beetle

seen on todays walk

the one on the right has been under a car cover since 2007, the one on the left since 2017, and there's another in the garage with no front end. This home owner has 4 elks, and they don't run
this one above, from 2007 when it was in front of his place, and not under a car cover, is now around the corner. I shit you not, he doesn't even park it in front of his place anymore

in only a moment, the power of the 350 and a sudden amount of traction, wrapped this 66 Nova around a telephone pole thank you George!

The 5th generation Chevy Nova was a rebadged Toyota Corolla
I just read that this morning... damn. How'd that stay under the radar until now?

I was reminiscing about my time in the Navy, and was trying to look up some of the guys I was shipmates, shoremates, and classmates with... and dang it, it's pretty cool to find that some have or had Facebook accounts
I know that THIS is the Vito Alfano I was friends with when stationed at NAS Miramar, because of the Nova he had then, and the Nova he has in his banner

196 miles after this '66 Nova with an L79 327 and 4 spd was sold, the new owner traded it back in. People have been flipping it for profit and storing it in museums ever since. Won the 2003 Chevy Nova Nationals in 2003.

The 2nd owner bought it as a gift for their son, who only drove it about 1700 miles, he rarely drove it, got a divorce, and it sat in his parents garage until it was sold as part of their estate sale
