A fuel leak and a backfire, and the car is toast. Let this catastrophe encourage the rest of us to make sure we have a (fifty pounder) CO2 fire extinguisher handy in the garage, and a couple smaller portable ones in the car between the seat and the door kickplate (where mine are stored)

1969 Camaro Pace Car was this guys high school car in 1980, it had a 350 and the rare Muncie 3 speed with console…..only two listed currently on the registry. What a lucky kid!

The plate represents the Camaro was registered in East Suffolk (UK) in about April of 1969. Originally registered as being 7793 cc which translates to 475 cu in

20 some years ago, this 69 Camaro (likely a real Z 28 based on parts) was bought, to give to a grandson. But the kid and grand dad realized it's better to sell it to someone with 50k or more to spend on restoring it, and use the sales money for college

The teen was going to inherit the car, but he didn’t show much interest in it, so a reasonable decision was made. Instead of letting the classic pony sit and collect barn dust and years, it’s now going to a new home
