things from the Swayze/Reeves original Point Break that would be epic to own... the Porsche that Lori Petty's character drove, or the Mach 1 that Keanu's character drove... or the guitar Patrick Swayze was tuning!
This now causes me to wonder, did this result in Keanu asking for his John Wick character to have a Mustang?

Baldwin Motion made 3 1969 Chevelles
they put 1969 Mach 1 Mustang mirrors on them
But 18 yr old Roberto Schneider, in 1968, had a rich Grandpa who owned the largest bank in Mexico.
A friend with a 435-horse Corvette suggested that a Baldwin-Motion Camaro, with its outrageous guarantee, might be the way to go.
In late 1968, he arrived in Long Island, New York, and after a test-drive, Roberto was convinced that he would need a pair of cars—a four-speed Camaro for his street-racing exploits, and an automatic-equipped Chevelle to use as a tow car.

Martyn Schorr, editor of Hi-Performance Cars magazine, called the pair "one of the most significant muscle car purchases in Baldwin-Motion history," a fact.
The order for the pair came to an eye-watering $16,692.86 in 1968 dollars,

a few interesting things coming to auction from the inevitable liquidation of the Oldham collection in Arizona
1943 White bomb loader COE
1961 Fiat 600
1964 Ford former Chevron airport fuel truck
1970 Mach 1
and this 1972 GMC
Oldham was involved in seven dealerships throughout his career, collected about 900 cars and is auctioning about 100 of the less interesting, less desirable, and certainly not the high demand extremely valuable ones.

Dave and Mike found a Mach 1 in a junkyard, and have the tv show money expense account to buy it, and get it running... damn, ain't that sweet!
I'm not a fan of their show, mostly from not being willing to get a subscription and a Motor Trend account because I am still pissed off at Motor Trend. Yes, that is true, and you'd need to go back to the fucking over Motor Trend did to their subscribers (posted about 15 years ago) to know why. I doubt there are 5 people reading today that have been reading since I started in 2006, and that's sad that so many I once knew by name have disappeared for unknown reasons, and I suspect it's old age.
Any way, Mike and Dave have a show you're already familiar with I am sure, and if you aren't a subscriber, like me, but agree it's a show that's a pleasure to watch, you can see this episode without a subscription at You Tube, because Motor Trend's app sucks, is limited to 720p, and it stops every 6 minutes for no reason
then the follow up, skip the first redundant 8 minutes
