the only FM3 1970 Fury III known to exist was at the 2025 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals


although it has a fender tag that indicates "special paint" and "special order," the main tag lists the paint's FM3 code. That's unusual because special-paint factory cars usually have the 999 code.

The one-off paint job also includes a white-painted top. This is a rare feature on any 1970 Fury because they were usually ordered with vinyl roofs.

tv series, Dark Winds takes place in 1971, and has some very cool late 60s vehicles.





Because it's a tv series, with limited budget, they didn't go for accuracy, or authenticity in the right vehicles - but they sure did choose some cool vehicles

the 1970 Sport Fury GT, a 2 door Mopar with the "GT" moniker.




 I also don't remember knowing that you could get a 440 6 pack Sport Fury in 1970


I've never heard of the S 23 model, I think that must refer to the first 4 digits of the VIN as the 2nd digit was an H or S which meant high or special trim line, and 23 was a 2 dr hard top, I think. Anyway, that's likely what the S 23 model refers to
