Boreanaz then said how The Rockford Files reboot will retain classic elements from the beloved detective show, ranging from the lead character’s classic car and “that California love,” to Jim Rockford’s diet of “tacos and hot dogs and Oreos.”

the NBC series re-teams Boreanaz with fellow SEAL Team actor Michaela McManus, who’d been cast as Kate, an East Hollywood detective who has a complicated romantic history with Rockford. 

Jacki Weaver has also been cast as Karma, Rockford’s trailer park neighbor who’s described as “a tough and outspoken think tank analyst.” 

The show follows the recently-paroled Rockford returning to his life as a private investigator “after doing time for a crime he didn’t commit.” The Rockford Files reboot will premiere on NBC in early 2027, and season 1 will consist of 13 episodes.

 The midseason show tells you more about NBC’s confidence is the real estate: Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, a slot the network reportedly held the series back specifically to anchor.

I finally watched the movie Ferrari with Adam Driver last night...

 good movie for the inside look at how he struggled with his wife, hating him for their son's death, and his mistress, wanting THEIR son to get his full attention, and his other mistress, and the cost of keeping all them in mansions, without letting his wife know what that cost them financially

The Ferrari shop, well realized on the set, hell, it's nearly real in the movie

the cars...wow. The sound, incredible, but REALLY LOUD compared to the actors talking. So, yeah, every damn minute of the movie you are lower the volume, and raising the volume

but the cars? I've never seen the 58 Testa Rossa driven around until now.. what a beautiful car! 

Mostly the movie is about a month in his life, as he deals with bankruptcy, insolvency, the wife owning 1/2 the company, and mustering the drivers into a team to win the Mille Miglia. Then a crash, blamestorm, etc
